Achim has a degree in Industrial Engineering awarded at University of Karlsruhe, Germany.

He is married and father of two children.

For more than 25 years Achim has been working for different companies and thereof more than 16 years as a managing director. He made his career in mid-sized national and multi-national companies.

Over this time, he has also worked as member on several boards of directors.

Achim has brought his experience and his knowledge into Walter & Guth GmbH, a consulting company specialized in M&A business, succession planning and market development support, in which he is a co-owner and a managing director.

Achim is specialised in financial controlling, restructuring and business financing and is well connected to relevant business and administration entities.
