Ramón Gómez-Rodulfo

Ramon graduated from the Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya, Spain, with a Master Degree in Industrial Engineering. He took a number of courses in real estate and water sewage and also graduated from the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at IESE Business School, in Munich.

Born in Spain, Ramon has been working in Central Europe since 1994. He is currently based in Hungary. Up to 1999 he worked as an engineer in investment and commercial projects with VEGYÉPSZER, UNIÓN FENOSA, TESA (ASSA ABLOY) in the oil, utilities and electronic industries.

For the last ten years he has worked as Managing Director in areas of logistics, marketing and sales management. He introduced and commercially developed premium brands such as SOS rice, BORGES olive oil, CALVO Tuna fish in the Central European markets. Over the years he has had wide experience in B2B negotiations and project management, working closely with retail leaders such as TESCO, METRO, SPAR and AUCHAN.

He has had considerable P&L management experience in FMCG business and retailing. In those areas he has demonstrated his ability to generate consistent profits, and shown his capacity to effectively manage people from mixed cultural backgrounds.

He is also committed and active in the world of education.
